What the SEO checker analyses

The checker downloads the page exactly as a search engine crawler would, follows any redirects, and tests more than 20 on-page and technical factors that influence how the page is crawled, indexed and displayed in search results:

  • Content: title tag and meta description length, a single descriptive H1, logical heading order, amount of text, image alt attributes.
  • Indexing: noindex directives, canonical URL, robots.txt rules, XML sitemap, redirect chains and status code.
  • Technical: HTTPS, mobile viewport, language declaration, server response time, HTML size, compression and favicon.
  • Social & structured data: Open Graph and Twitter tags for link previews, and schema.org JSON-LD types.
  • Links: internal and external links, including nofollow.

How to use the results

  1. Fix errors first. A noindex tag, a robots.txt block or a missing title can keep a page out of search entirely.
  2. Improve the search snippet. The preview shows how your title and description may appear. Write them for people: a clear promise, the main keyword and a reason to click.
  3. Strengthen the content. Search engines rank pages that fully answer the searcher's question. Use headings to structure that answer.
  4. Check speed and security. Run the website speed test and the security scanner; HTTPS and page experience are ranking signals.
Note: no tool can see everything that affects rankings: backlinks, content quality, search intent and competition matter most. Use this audit to remove technical obstacles, then focus on making the best page for the topic. Google Search Console shows how your pages actually perform.

Frequently asked questions

Does the checker execute JavaScript?

No. It analyses the HTML returned by the server. If your site renders content with JavaScript, make sure important text and links are in the server response, or use server-side rendering, so all search engines can see them.

How long should a title tag be?

Roughly 30–60 characters. Google truncates by pixel width (around 600 px), so very long titles are cut off.

Is a meta description a ranking factor?

Not directly, but a compelling description improves click-through rate from search results.
